A revolutionary polynucleotides-based product – NewGyn – which treats the female intimate area is now available via regenerative aesthetic distribution and training company DermaFocus.

Designed specifically to improve damaged and degraded skin with a loss of elasticity, NewGyn has been clinically proven to reduce itching, irritation, soreness, dryness and sagging. As a result, it will lessen general discomfort and help make sexual intercourse less painful.

NewGyn comprises 20mg of highly-purified polynucleotide technology (PN-HPT®) and 20mg of non-cross linked hyaluronic acid in each 2ml syringe. Depending on the severity of patients’ symptoms, they are advised to undergo a series of three to six treatments, spaced two to four weeks apart, every six months.

The treatment works by regenerating fibroblasts, which helps repair damage, maintain structure and reduce sagging. The added bonus of hyaluronic acid moisturises the area to reduce dryness and discomfort.

Milad Bemana, executive director of DermaFocus, said, “We are proud to introduce NewGyn to the UK, which offers women a fantastic minimally-invasive and hormone-free treatment that can relieve them of multiple intimate health concerns. Research has found that NewGyn is a reliable stand-alone procedure, while also being capable of boosting results of other vulvo-vaginal treatments.”

He continues, “This product now completes our portfolio of our clinically-effective PN-HPT® range, which includes Plinest, Plinest Eyes and Newest for facial skin treatments. Medical aesthetic practitioners across the country are seeing fantastic results for multiple skin concerns, increasing demand for our training. We’re delighted to be able to offer increased training dates throughout 2024, with Masterclasses dedicated to specific indications – including intimate health. Get in touch to find out more!”

Masterclasses on treating the intimate area with NewGyn are led by consultant gynaecologist Dr Smita Sinha. They include theoretical and practical instruction on patient selection, protocols and optimising treatment outcomes for women suffering from vulvo-vaginal dryness, irritation, soreness, itching and sagging.
